In the community: The Fog Devils have launched a community initiative involving schools in and around the St. John's area. The initiative is to help schools fundraise through selling Fog Devils tickets and receiving a share of the 50/50 draw at a home game. Contact Rebecca Bell at 754-8282 for more details.
The Fog Devils have begun a minor hockey initiative at the atom level known as the Fog Devils Hardest Working Player Award. Coaches choose a hardest working player at the end of each game, at which point the player receives two ticket vouchers for a Fog Devils home game, a Fog Devils hard hat, and has his or her picture posted on the videoboard at a home game. For more information on the program contact Steve Crickard at 754-8282.
The Fog Devils have announced their first annual "Fog Devils Christmas Classic", an atom houseleague tournament open to teams all across Newfoundland and Labrador. The tournament will take place from January 3-6, 2008. For more details contact Steve Crickard at 754-8282.
