
Springfield Lasers To Host Western Conference Championship

With their victory tonight over the Sacramento Capitals, the Springfield Lasers clinched the top seed in the West and will host the Texas Wild for the Mylan WTT Western Conference Championship presented by GEICO on Thursday, July 25, at 7:00pm CENTRAL at Mediacom Stadium at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo.
Results from tonight's matches are below. All teams for the Conference Championships are decided except for the second-seeded team in the Eastern Conference. The Boston Lobsters and the New York Sportimes are battling for the last spot which will be decided on the final night of the regular season, July 24.

Eastern Conference: Washington has clinched the #1 seed in the Mylan WTT Eastern Conference Championship presented by GEICO.
Boston clinches a playoff spot if:
* Boston defeats Washington or
* Washington defeats Boston and Philadelphia defeats New York
New York clinches a playoff spot if:
* New York defeats Philadelphia and
* Washington defeats Boston
Western Conference:
* Springfield has clinched the #1 seed in the Mylan WTT Western Conference Championship presented by GEICO.
* Texas has clinched the #2 seed in the Mylan Western Conference Championship presented by GEICO.
