Spring Training is Underway

Well, we are three days into Spring Training, and so far the team looks great! Solid pitching, powerful hitters, and the strength of great coaching, and we like what we see. There is a level of Team Chemistry already that is rare in sports, especially this early in camp. Everyone truly seems to enjoy one another, and there is a relaxed atmosphere in camp so far. We have a powerful lineup, and with changes to American League rules this summer (we will be using the DH, effective immediately), we add one more strong bat to the lineup.

We anticipate a very active, busy season at Goodwin Field this summer, and there are still good seats available for most games. Click on the following link to purchase your seats today. I know I get paid to say this, but we are going to have A LOT of fun this summer! This is exciting for all of us!! We are just 10 days from Opening Night in Chico, and only 22 days from OPENING NIGHT at Goodwin Field! Holy cow!!! :-)

Here is our updated schedule for Spring Training, which of course, is always subject to change. We will have workouts from 9 - noon each day, and then:

Wednesday, May 24, 12:05 PM Flyers host Newport Beach Storm at Fullerton College

Thursday, May 25, 1:05 PM Flyers host US Military All Stars at Fullerton College

Friday, May 26, 2:00 PM Flyers host Long Beach Armada at Fullerton College

Saturday, May 27, 2:00 PM Flyers host Long Beach Armada at Fullerton College

Sunday, May 28, 2:00 PM Flyers host Long Beach Armada at Fullerton College

Monday, May 29, 7:00 PM Flyers travel to Blair Field to play the Long Beach Armada

Tuesday, May 30, 2:00 PM Flyers host Long Beach Armada at Fullerton College

All games are free to the public, and parking is free in Lot B on the first base side of the field (between the tennis courts and soccer field).
