Surprise Fightin' Falcons News Release
The 2005 Surprise Fightin' Falcons report to spring training Monday May 9, 2005. Spring training will be at the Surprise Recreation Campus through May 25th. Practices will begin at 8 am and run until 1 pm.
The Fightin' Falcons will be using the practice fields for their workouts. In addition to the practices the Fightin' Falcons will play four pre-season games at the Surprise Recreation Campus. The first of these will be Friday May 13 with the game time being 7:30 pm. This game will take place on the main field. They will face the Chico Outlaws. On May 16, the Fightin' Falcons will play the Chico Outlaws on practice field #6 at noon. May 17th they will play the San Diego Surf Dawgs on practice field #6 at noon. The last pre-season home game for the Fightin' Falcons will be May 22nd against the Chico Outlaws at noon on practice field #3.
The Fightin' Falcons training site is also the spring training site of the Chico Outlaws, from the California Division.
Field Manager Ozzie Virgil Jr. and his coaching staff will be available after practices for interviews.
Single game tickets for the Fightin' Falcons inaugural season are currently on sale at the Surprise Stadium Ticket Office, 15960 N. Bullard, Surprise, AZ 85374, by calling 480-784-4444 or by going on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
The ticket office is open Monday-Friday 9 am â 5 pm. On game days Monday â Saturday during the season the ticket office will be open from 9 am â bottom of the 5th inning. On Sunday game days the ticket office will be open from 11 a.m. to the bottom of the 5th inning. Single game tickets range in price from $5 to $10.
