
SportsQuest/Richmond Revolution Announce Choreographer

RICHMOND, VA.: SportsQuest and the Richmond Revolution announced today that a choreographer has been selected to run the dance team for the upcoming IFL season. Julia Abbott is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Super Bowl dancer. Julia also has experience dancing with former area teams the Speed, the Bandits, and the Riverdogs. For the past three years she has been the director of the dance team at Midlothian High School, Director and choreographer for the Diamond Dolls promotional dance team, as well as a jazz instructor at the Premiere Dance Studio.
Dance team tryouts are tentatively scheduled for the first weekend in November, 2009. Practices will be held in the weeks leading up to the tryouts. The tryouts will be taking place at a to be determined public location with a panel of local celebrity judges. Fans will be invited to come out and support the dancers as they try to make the team.
Season Tickets are now available for the upcoming inaugural season of the Richmond Revolution. Prices start at $99 and are available at the SportsQuest Corporate offices located at 1001 Boulders Parkway, Suite 300 in Richmond or by calling (804)560-4318. There are a limited number of free Team jersey's available, as only the first 300 season ticket holders will receive one.

SportsQuest, a multi-level organization, is the newest member of the Indoor Football League. SportsQuest is in the process of building a 250 acre multi-purpose, multi-sport campus in the Chesterfield area of Virginia. The campus is designed to host athletics of all skill levels, from recreational to Olympic training. Among their plans is the creation of a 5,000 seat arena that will house hockey, basketball and indoor football. The arena will be up and running by 2011, but the expansion IFL franchise will begin play in 2010 at the Athur Ashe Athletic Center.
