Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports game with Edinburg scheduled for tonight (Tuesday) has been rained out.
The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader (Wednesday) starting at 5:05 pm at Fair Grounds Field.
The Sports will start Bert Snow (8-6) and Ryan Snyder (4-6) while Edinburg is expected to start Julio Ruiz (7-4) and Ryan Bonesio (1-2) in the twin bill.
Shreveport won the first game of the series on Monday 2-1 over the Roadrunners.
In a player move, Shreveport Sports pitcher Dusty Dossett has been sold to the Kansas City Royals organization and will report to Burlington (IA) of the Class A Midwest League. In 12 starts for the Sports, Dossett had a record of 4-4 with a 3.22 ERA.
The Sports have not added another pitcher at this time.
