The Shreveport Sports losing streak has reached seven games after being shutout Wednesday at Fair Grounds Field by Lincoln 3-0. Lincoln righthander Jarrett Gardner allowed only four hits, all singles while striking out eight. He didn't walk a batter in recording his fifth win. The only threat the Sports had was in the third inning when they loaded the bases with one out, but couldn't score. Lincoln scored twice in the fourth and added an insurance run in the ninth to win their fourth straight game. Shreveport and Lincoln will meet again Thursday at 7:05 at Fair Grounds Field with the game to be broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
