June 25, 2021 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Sporting Kansas City News Release
Sporting Kansas City and The Victory Project have announced the launch of Argyle Ace presented by Mazuma, a fundraising raffle debuting today that features weekly prizes and a progressive cash jackpot.
Argyle Ace presented by Mazuma is the latest initiative tied to "A Force for Good," a new philanthropic campaign in which Sporting and The Victory Project join forces with local partners to help children and meet crucial community needs. Half of all proceeds from Argyle Ace will go directly to The Victory Project.
"We are delighted to partner with Sporting Kansas City to present Argyle Ace, a raffle that not only engages supporters but fosters The Victory Project in its mission to help children through all of life's challenges," said Deonne Christensen, Mazuma Credit Union President/CEO. "By participating in this interactive game, fans are providing support for kids who need it most."
Sporting and The Victory Project will conduct Argyle Ace raffle drawings once per week and fans can participate online at ArgyleAce.com, as outlined below:
Purchase an Argyle Ace raffle ticket and pick an envelope numbered 1-54. Each envelope contains a unique card, one of which holds the Ace of Diamonds -- or the "Argyle Ace."
The fan who holds the winning raffle number will win a weekly prize package from Sporting Kansas City.
If the raffle winner picks the envelope that contains the Argyle Ace, they have also won the progressive cash jackpot.
Argyle Ace will reward a winner every Tuesday throughout the season. If the winning participant does not choose the Argyle Ace, the progressive jackpot rolls over to the next week and fans are invited to play again by purchasing more raffle tickets. Once a raffle winner selects the Argyle Ace, half of the jackpot will go to the participant and half will go to The Victory Project.
Supporters can purchase raffle tickets for the first round of Argyle Ace at ArgyleAce.com. The progressive cash jackpot will begin at $20,000 plus the sales of all raffle tickets in week one. The first raffle winner will be selected Tuesday, July 6, at 3 p.m. CT.
