TEAM FALK

Justin Falk's WHL career went from being a 10th round bantam selection to the Spokane Chiefs List of Legends. Originally property of the Calgary Hitmen, Falk was selected with the 189th overall selection in the 2003 WHL Bantam Draft. The Snowflake, Manitoba appeared in nine games with the Hitmen before a November, 2005 trade brought him to Spokane.

Falk led the Chiefs in plus-minus two straight seasons (05-06 and 06-07) and finished as a +27 in 2008. That year, he played in all 72 regular season games, 21 WHL playoff games and four Memorial Cup games. At the Memorial Cup, he was one of four Chiefs to be named to the Tournament All-Star team and scored a goal in a 2-1 win against Kitchener as the Chiefs won their second Canadian Hockey League title.

Falk was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL Draft and played 11 professional season, including 279 games in the NHL with the Wild, New York Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa Senators.

Falk was named to the Chiefs original List of Legends when the Chiefs celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2010. He is currently a scout with the Sabres.

The Chiefs Annual Fall Training Camp schedule will be released on Friday, August 21st.
