
Spitfires Trade G Kyle Downey to the Erie Otters

Windsor Spitfires News Release
The Windsor Spitfires have sent goaltender Kyle Downey to the Erie Otters in exchange for Erie's 6th round pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection.
Downey, a native of Caledon, Ontario was drafted by the Spitfires in the 2020 OHL PS 39th overall. Downey appeared in 11 games for the Spitfires in the 2021-22 regular season, posting a 4.19 GAA with a .857 save percentage and a record of 4-3-1-0.
The Spitfires would like to wish Downey the best of luck in his future hockey endeavours.
