
Spitfires Exchange Picks with Sarnia and Owen Sound

Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manager Warren Rychel today announced that the Spitfires have acquired a second round pick (39th overall) and an 11th round pick (206th overall) for tomorrow's OHL Priority Selection (Presented by State Farm) from the Sarnia Sting.
In exchange, Windsor sent their second round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection and their third round pick in 2014 to the Sting.
"After three really good seasons which include two MasterCard Memorial Cup Championships, I'm very happy to have three picks in the top 40 (13th, 30th and 39th overall picks) for tomorrow's draft," said Warren Rychel.
Additionally, the Spitfires received Owen Sound's 14th round pick in tomorrow's Priority Selection and sent their 13th round pick in 2012 to the Attack.
The Windsor Spitfires will be taking part in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection, presented by State Farm tomorrow (Saturday, May 7th) starting at 9 am. Please note that the 2011 OHL Priority Selection, Presented by State Farm will be conducted online, with results being posted on ontariohockeyleague.com. The OHL will be conducting a Live Priority Selection Draft Show on the league's website on Saturday starting at 9 am and will feature the first three rounds live, including the selections, analysis, player profiles, video and interviews.
