
SPHL Announces Suspension

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced the following suspension:
Knoxville's Valliquette fined, suspended
Knoxville's Brett Valliquette has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in Game 197, Louisiana at Knoxville, on March 13.
Valliquette was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule 42.5, Charging, at 19:52 of the third period.
Valliquette sat out Knoxville's games against Louisiana (March 14) and Huntsville (March 15), and will miss games against Fayetteville (March 19) and Columbus (March 20 and 21).
