SPHL Announces Knoxville Suspension, Fines

February 15, 2011 - SPHL (SPHL) News Release


CHARLOTTE, NC - The SPHL today announced Knoxville's David Segal has been suspended three games for his actions in the Ice Bears' game against Augusta on Saturday, February 12.

Segal will miss Knoxville's game vs. Fayetteville on Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19 and against Columbus on Sunday, February 20.

In addition, Knoxville player Brett Valliquette and head coach Mike Craigen have each been fined an undisclosed amount for their roles in the third period altercation.
