
Spartans Family Night Kicks Off 2010 Season

La Crosse, WI: With the 2010 Indoor Football League regular season only a month away, the La Crosse Spartans team and staff are gearing up for the region's first look at the new franchise. That all begins with Friday's (Jan. 29) Family Night event held at the La Crosse Center. Fans are reminded that the doors open at 7:30 pm and tickets are still available through tickmaster.com, www.lacrossespartans.com, or at the La Crosse Center Box Office. The entire team and coaching staff will be on hand for the entire night, joining in on activities suited for the entire family. Activities will include games for kids of all ages, live performances, music, giveaways, clowns, special guest appearances and much more. The team will also host a youth football clinic for local youth players at 5:30 pm.
Tickets for the event are $10, and group tickets are available for $5 for groups of ten or more. Spartan season ticket holders will receive VIP passes for the event as part of their season ticket packages. Seating for the event is general admission, and those looking for group tickets should contact the Spartans office directly at 608-567-4299.
Last week, the team has also began to sell individual and group game tickets for the upcoming season. Individual tickets are on sale through the La Crosse Center Box Office, located at 300 Harborview Plaza in La Crosse, and through ticketmaster.com. Group tickets are available by calling the Spartans office.
Prices for tickets vary depending on location within the arena. Tickets range from 300 level (end zone) seating, which will cost $10.00 per game, to 100 level (1-3) seating which is valued at $33.00 per game. 300 level (sideline), 200 level, and 100 level (4-6) seats are $14.50, $24.00, and $30.00 respectively. Group ticket prices (10 or more people) are discounted with 300 level (end zone) seats for $9.00, 300 level (sideline) seats for $12.50, and 200 level seats for $21.00 a piece. If you would like to purchase a season package, fans are encouraged to call the Spartans office immediately to take advantage of the last few days of January's 10% off holiday deal.
The team's first live action will come on February 21st in a Pre-Season game against the neighboring Green Bay Blizzard. Game time is scheduled for 3pm. The Gilbert Brown led Spartans officially begin their 2010 campaign on February 27th on the road against the Wichita Wild and host the Omaha Beef on Saturday, April 3rd at 7:30 pm in the team's home opener.
