
Sparks to host Health & Wellness Night

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks will host Health & Wellness Night, co-presented by Farmers Insurance and Anthem Blue Cross on Sunday, August 30th as they take on the Connecticut Sun at 6:30pm at STAPLES Center.
Health & Wellness Night will provide an opportunity for fans to receive tips on leading and enjoying a healthy life. The activities are highlighted by a Health & Fitness fair presented by Kellen Resources on the STAPLES Center concourse.
The Health & Fitness fair will feature exhibits by Global Cardio, The Pain Eraser, Health Advocate, St. Vincent IPA, Woodside Dental, Heart Check America, Bodi Tox, Sensual Shea, Advanced Healthcare Solutions, Ovarian Cancer Coalition, California Solar Innovations, Juice Plus, Sahara Clinic and Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary. All fans are encouraged to participate in the Sparks Health & Wellness Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win Candace Parker autographed memorabilia. Fans just need to visit each exhibitor on the concourse, fill out the Sparks Health & Wellness Scavenger Hunt form and turn it in to a Sparks representative to be placed in the drawing.
In a partnership with the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, the Sparks will also celebrate what it means to be a Girl Scout throughout the game. Over 500 Girl Scouts will be in attendance participating in exclusive activities just for them. The activities include a Flag Ceremony, pre-game ball exchange and a pre-game shoot-around. Girl Scouts will also have the opportunity to participate in on-court fan tunnels and each will receive a free commemorative patch.
