Sparks Announce Television Broadcast Team

Los Angeles - The LA Sparks are pleased to announce that Larry Burnett will continue as their play-by-play announcer and veteran women's basketball commentator Tracy Warren will join the team as the color analyst for the 2012 season.

Burnett enters his 15th season calling Sparks games and Warren is entering her first full season with the team. Warren has previously called women's sports for ESPN, The Big Ten Network, The Mountain Network and Fox Sports Network. She is a two-time collegiate All-American.

As part of a multi-year broadcast partnership with Time Warner Cable Sports, 13 LA Sparks games this season will be shown on Time Warner Cable SoCal 101 and 11 will be shown on KDOC-TV. Starting with the 2013 WNBA season, the LA Sparks' broadcasts will transition to Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes.

The Sparks will tip-off the 2012 season Friday, May 18 at the Seattle Storm before the same two teams do battle at STAPLES Center on Tuesday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. For ticket information, call 877-44-SPARKS or visit LASparks.com.
