
Sox introduce Passport Challenge for a chance to win Rangers tickets

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Sox announced today the introduction of a program called the passport challenge. This program is an outlet for fans to support local business while being entered into a drawing for prizes including tickets to the Texas Rangers.
The Sox front office at 801 S. Polk in Amarillo will issue passports to any and all comers who wish to participate. The passport contains pages of 13 separate restaurants and services. In order to be entered into the drawing, participants must visit each and every restaurant or service, make a purchase, and attach the corresponding receipt to the service or restaurant's page. When all 13 are completed, the participant can return the passport to the Sox office.
The contest will begin on November 1, 2011 and will run through June 30, 2012. Participants must be US residents and 18 years of age or older. All passports must be turned in before the June 30 date. There is not a limit on entries per person.
First prize is two tickets to the game between the Texas Rangers and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in Arlington, Texas on September 29, 2012. First prize also includes two nights stay in Arlington and a gas card for travel.
Second prize are gift cards to corresponding services, while third prize is two season tickets for the 2013 Amarillo Sox season.
Participating services and restaurants include Acapulco's Mexican Restaurant, the Amarillo Bulls Hockey Club, La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, Menchie's Caf, Western Bowl, La Frontera Mexican Restaurant, Cowboy Gelato, Chili's Bar and Grill, Dolly's Diner, Thai Taste, Home Plate Diner, Rudy's BBQ and Carino's Italian Restaurant.
