South Bay Lakers forward Nate Pierre-Louis has received the 2022-23 Kia NBA G League Sportsmanship Award, as voted on by all NBA G League players. The award honors the player who best represents the ideals of character and conduct on the court and in the community.

Pierre-Louis was an integral member of the Los Angeles community throughout this season and served food with his teammates at Union Rescue Mission in January. He averaged 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in 18.5 minutes for South Bay this season, reaching the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google Pixel in two consecutive seasons with the team.

The Kia NBA G League Sportsmanship Award trophy is named after the late Jason Collier, who exemplified the qualities of a great teammate during his career in the NBA G League and the NBA.

College Park Skyhawks guard Langston Galloway and Memphis Hustle forward Justin Bean finished second and third in voting, respectively.
