Sounders to Face Chivas USA

Seattle Sounders FC News Release


First place in the Western Conference will be at stake Saturday night when Seattle Sounders FC (3-1-0) travels to the Los Angeles area to face unbeaten Chivas USA (3-0-1). Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Chivas USA holds a slim, one-point lead in the Western Conference following a tie with the L.A. Galaxy last week. Meanwhile, Sounders FC was dealt its first loss, 1-0, by the Kansas City Wizards.

Seattle's start remains the best by an MLS expansion team and its one goal allowed is the fewest in the league this season.

Sounders FC returns home to host the San Jose Earthquakes on April 25 before another capacity crowd on the Xbox Pitch at Qwest Field. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
