Seattle Sounders News Release
Seattle Sounders fans who bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to Saturday night's 7pm exhibition match between the Sounders and Chivas USA of Major League Soccer will not only help the Sounders win the "Fuel the Dream Summer Food Drive Challenge" between the Sounders and the Seattle Storm, but will also receive a free ticket to the June 28th Sounders home match against Miami FC.
This is the second year running that the Sounders have faced Chivas USA in an early season exhibition and the first time they've participated in the "Fuel the Dream Challenge." Last season the Sounders lost to Chivas with the single goal coming from former Sounder midfielder Brent Whitfield.
This year, it's former Seattle forward Maykel Galindo who looks to be the danger man in front of net for Chivas USA. He's netted five goals in eight games played which is good enough for the team lead and places him third overall amongst goal scorers in MLS.
