Soulmates to Bartend for Charity in Manayunk

PHILADELPHIA (August 23, 2011) - The Philadelphia Soul dance team, the Soulmates, will be guest bartenders at Mad River in Manayunk, PA on Thursday, August 25 from 7 to 11 p.m. A portion of their tips go to Philadelphia's Citizens for Fire Prevention Committee - http://freedomfromfire.comâ=80-/id21.html
There will be live music with a "Drummer versus a DJ" battle and drinks served by the "most beautiful, most talented ladies in the Arena Football League", all while helping out a good cause.
Soulmates will be bartending for two shifts, 7-9 p.m. and 9-11 p.m. - maybe longer for a generous crowd. The $5 cover charge (after 9 p.m.) will be waived or donated to the cause if people mention the Soulmates at the door.
Other event highlights include: Half Price Appetizers from 7-9 p.m.; $1 Bud & Bud Light, $2 You-Call-It (9-11 p.m.); DJ Daily & Tommy G (of The Starting Line) LIVE on stage.
