Soulmate Open Tryouts to be Held Sunday, December 12

PHILADELPHIA (December 1, 2010) - The Philadelphia Soul will have an open-call tryout for the 2011 Soulmate Dance Team to be held on Sunday, December 12 at Philadelphia Airport Hilton starting at 1 p.m. Pre-registration can be done by going to www.philadelphiasoul.com . The fee will be $20 if done in advance and $25 for walk up on the day of the event.
The open-call audition registration will take place between 1-1:30 p.m. with the audition beginning promptly at 1:30 p.m. Participants must be a high school graduate, at least 18 years of age by December 12, 2010 with a valid photo ID. Participants are required to wear two-piece dance wear including a midriff top, lycra shorts, appropriate footwear and bring a full body picture and headshot.
Participants will be taught a routine and do not need to prepare their own. Experienced dancers as well as beginners are encouraged to audition. Applicants will be judged on dance ability, appearance, personality and attitude. The open-call audition will be closed to the public.
