Soul to hold dance team auditions

The Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League will be holding auditions for the 2006 Soulmates dance this Saturday, October 8, at the Airport Hilton.
Where: Airport Hilton 4509 Island Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19153
When: Saturday, October 8 Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Audition begins at 9:00 a.m. Tryouts are closed to the public.
Background: Promising dancers will need to come dressed to perform with full make-up and hair, two-piece dance wear including a midriff top, lycra shorts and appropriate dance footwear. All applicants will need to bring a valid photo ID. Dancers will be taught a routine at the preliminary audition and will be judged on dance ability, appearance, personality and attitude. Auditions are expected to last six to seven hours.
Registration fee is $25 (cash or check).
Callbacks will be required to attend a boot camp on Tuesday, October 11 at 6 p.m. There will then be two days of interviews (business attire necessary) on Thursday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 18 (dancers will only be required to attend one of these dates). Final auditions will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at 6 p.m.
