
Soul Hold Town Takeover with Manayunk on July 10

PHILADELPHIA (July 9, 2015)- The Philadelphia Soul will host a Town Takeover in Manayunk on Friday, July 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Town Takeover, will take place at Northern Children Services located at 5301 Ridge Ave. Philadelphia, PA before their game against the Cleveland Gladiators on Saturday, July 11 at 1 p.m.
During the practice, kids will be asked to participate by "running plays" with the Soul team. This will be the team's last practice before the Soul (12-2) host the Cleveland Gladiators (7-7) on the Rothman Field at the Wells Fargo Center.
"Town Takeovers are a great opportunity for fans to connect with our players and coaches. At 12-2, we are obviously proud of our team on the field. However, we are even more proud of the individuals that make up this team and we are excited to connect with our fans in Manayunk on Friday," said John Adams, Chief Operating Officer of the Soul.
In addition to Soul players and coaches, there will be appearances by the Soul mascot, SoulMan, the Soulmates dance team, Soul ownership, and front office staff. After the practice, fans will be able to meet Soul players and Soulmates who will be signing autographs.
Tune into CBS Sports to watch Saturday's game against the Cleveland Gladiators. Kick-off is 1 p.m.
