COLUMBUS, OH - Columbus quarterback Matt Nagy lead the Destroyers to victory of the Philadelphia Soul at Nationwide Arena as he threw three touchdowns and watched his defense hold the Soul to a season low 21 points. Columbus pulled away in the second half and defeated Philadelphia for their third consecutive loss of the season; 44-21.

Columbus would quickly get on the board in the second quarter when Nagy connected with Offensive Player of the Game Damian Groce for a 25-yard touchdown to go up 7-0 following a Peter Martinez extra point conversion.
Philadelphia found themselves playing catch-up the whole game as they didn't have the lead at any point. The turning point for the Soul was when Stoerner called his own number on third and goal from the Columbus two-yard line before the half. He fumbled the ball as time expired and went into the locker room with his team down 20-10.
The second half didn't start any better for Philadelphia as they were held to a 22-yard field goal by Todd France on the first drive out after the break to close the gap to 20-13. The Destroyers would then score 17 unanswered to extend their lead to 37-13 with 6:42 remaining in the game.
As each team exchanged scores to close out the game, Columbus was able to win their third straight by a 44-21 margin.
