Soul announce employee promotions

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul and General Manager Rich Lisk continue to reform the front office for the upcoming 2007 season. They have promoted Mark Evans to Client Services Manager and Steve Shultz to Director of Operations, who is replacing John Adams as he continues his career with the Lancaster Barnstormers, an Independent Minor League Baseball team in the Atlantic League, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Shultz takes on Adams' responsibilities as director of operations as he enters his second season with the Soul. During his first season, he was the organizations client services manager after interning in the sales and marketing department during the 2005 season. He coordinates all game day operations and directs the Soul entertainment experience while overseeing the management of the Soulmates dance team, Soul Squad promotions/stunt team and serves as the operations liaison between the Soul and Comcast-Spectacor.

Evans returns to the Soul for his second season, assuming the role of client services manager for Shultz. During his first season, he was an account executive and was a key component to the Soul's ticketing staff by assisting in promotions and ticket sales. He works closely with the director of corporate sponsorships, Chris Garrity, in prospecting, establishing and researching leads to corporate development. He also assists with coordinating sponsorship sales and is responsible for corporate partnership fulfillment while working with outside agencies to get corporate sponsorship media, signage and promotions created and placed.

Fun. Family. Football. It begins this March as the Soul travel to take on the Nashville Kats on Friday, March 9 at 8:00 p.m. in the Gaylord Entertainment Center to kickoff the 21st season of the AFL.
