PHILADELPHIA (March 16, 2012) - The Philadelphia Soul and Mission Kids are proud to announce a unique partnership that will bring these two entities, along with area Soul fans, together in the fight against child abuse.

April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month, so it's only fitting that the team has agreed to donate 50 percent of their ticket sales from the April 20 game to this cause. The Soul will host the Tampa Bay Storm at home on Friday April 20, 2012 at 8 p.m.

"Our organization already has a commitment to ending child sexual abuse, and this partnership with Mission Kids helps strengthen that commitment," said Soul VP/COO John Adams. "Ending child sexual abuse starts with awareness, and the Soul are proud to partner with Mission Kids to help spread this awareness."

Tickets for the game are still available and they can be purchased by contacting a Soul Sales Representative at 888-789-SOUL ext. 3, or by visiting www.philadelphiasoul.com.

Mission Kids offers a comprehensive, centrally located, multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child abuse in a dedicated, child-friendly setting to achieve justice for child victims and promote their physical and emotional well-being. Mission Kids provides neutral, fact-finding forensic interviews which are coordinated to avoid duplicative interviewing and supports Montgomery County's multidisciplinary team approach to child abuse investigation and intervention.
