Soo Eagles Travel Back to Wisconsin

The Soo Eagles will hit the road once again this week, as they travel back to Wisconsin, this time to face North Division foe the Janesville Jets, this Friday and Saturday night at the Janesville Ice Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. (CST) both nights. You can catch the action live or on-demand, at www.fasthockey.com.

The Eagles currently sit in sixth place in the North American Hockey League's North Division (8-13-5) and are two points behind Janesville (11-13-1), who resides in fifth place.

The Eagles are led in scoring by forward Ryan Urso, who has four goals and 11 assists this season. Jacob McDowell is (10-4- 14), Mike Sabatini and Bruno Birzitis are both (7-7- 14).

The Jets are led is scoring by Jordan Himley who has 10 goals and 16 assists this season. Michael Louria is (13-12- 25) while former Soo Eagle, Robin Hoglund is (8-12- 20).

Soo Eagles goaltender Colin Brennan, carries a 4-5-1-3 record into this weekend's series, with a goals against average of 3.00 and a save percentage of .910. Paige Skoog is 4-7-0-1 with a GAA of 2.72 and a SVP of .919.

Brock Kautz is 6-9-0-0 in net for Janesville, with a goals against average of 3.26 and a save percentage of .908. Logan Halladay is 5-3-0-1, with a GAA of 2.87 and a SVP of .914.

This is the first of eight meetings this season between the Eagles and the Jets. These teams will square off once again in Janesville on January 17-18, 2014, and will meet for a three game set at Pullar Stadium, on January 25-27, 2014.
