Chicago Soldiers News Release

Chicago, IL. Michael Ullrich, GM of the ABA Chicago Soldiers professional basketball team today announced that the team would be playing its home games at Moraine Valley Community College located at 10900 S. 88th Avenue in Palos, Illinois. (Located on 111th Street between Harlem and LaGrange). According to Ullrich, "We had a lot of excellent facilities to choose from but we felt very comfortable about keeping the team on the southside of the city and suburbs. We feel that this is a great community and we will get great support here. The team will be out in the community through school programs, YMCA and Boys and Girls Clubs."

Ullrich added, "Another of the keys to making this decision is the affordability of the venue; this will allow us to keep ticket prices way down and will make the Chicago Soldiers far and away the best sports and entertainment value in the city -comparable to going to the movies - for exciting, high scoring professional basketball. Who can ask for more."
