SoCal Scorpions expand into San Diego County for the upcoming 2004 season

SoCal Scorpions News Release


The owners of the SoCal Scorpions were in attendance at the annual WPFL owners meeting conducted in Kenosha, Wisconsin on November 9th and 10th of 2003 and are pleased to announce that they have secured the San Diego market for the 2004 season.

"We are ecstatic that we have grown as an organization both on and off the field. We are proud that the Women's Professional Football League has confidence in our organization and has granted us a license in the San Diego area", stated co-owner Ann Bagala.

The owners of the SoCal Scorpions will be looking to focus their marketing efforts in both the San Diego county and part of the Riverside county area. Last season, they played their home games in Temecula, CA and are looking forward to the possibility of moving their home field down into the San Diego region.
