Prince George Cougars News Release
PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Prince George Cougars General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb announced tonight that the club has acquired a 6th Round Selection in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for defenceman Tyrone Sobry (06).
"We were very happy with how Tyrone performed for the Cougars but we currently have a surplus of over-agers on our roster," said Lamb. "He's going back to his hometown of Saskatoon with a better chance to play so we're happy about that. We wish him the best going forward."
Cougars Training Camp takes place at the CN Centre from Wednesday, August 26 to Sunday, August 30th culminating with the annual Red vs White Rob Charney Cup Intrasquad Game.
