Today football for Women comes full circle. The So Cal Scorpions will be hosting a Mini Clinic for The Murrieta Pop Warner Cheer leaders. "Where better to learn tackle football from than our own Women's Pro football team" Dawn Breda who arranged the idea. "We feel so privileged to have these women take the time to put into the girls".

"This is where it all begins", Stated Ann Bagala, one of the four owners of the Scorpions.

"When you can reach girls at this age, and show them that it is possible for them to become a football player, as well as a cheerleader, that anything they want to do is possible".

Jody Taylor, Defense Tackle for the Scorpions, "This is so great for me, because believe it or not I was a Pop Warner Cheerleader in Fallbrook where I grew up". It's an incredible feeling to give back to where your football seed was planted".

The Scorpions will be running the cheerleader through a mini clinic, then the players will be available for autographs and pictures. All of the area's Pop Warner leagues will be special guest at the Scorpions upcoming home game, Saturday night at Chaparral High School vs. The three time Champion, Houston Energy.
