Snowbears continue winning, run streak to 9 with 102-88 win

The Utah Snowbears could have folded under pressure. Instead, they got veteran play from Alex Austin plus big free throws by Cutis Millage an Clay Tucker to collect a 102-88 win over the Bellevue Blackhawks in Salt Lake City Thursday night.

Austin led a fourth quarter charge by scoring six points 2 steals and a follow up basket, while Millage hit 4 key free throws in the final quarter to go along with Tucker's steal and converted loose ball to take a one point game and allow Utah to coast home with the win.

Dontay Harris kept the Blackhawks in the game with a 13 point third quarter and finished with 22 points. Greg Hendrix, Justin Murray and Chris Baert finished in double figures for Bellevue. Murray was the games leading rebounder with 11.

Utah was out to a 20 point third quarter lead until Harris went on his scoring rampage. Tyrone Hayes had 11 first quarter points off the Utah bench, and Jared Ramirez added 7 points in the second to push Utah to a 57-43 halftime lead. Harold Arceneaux finished with 12 points while Curtis Millage added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the Snowbears.
