Snohomish County Explosion News Release
Monroe, WA. - March 6, 2009 - With just one week under his belt as the new General Manager of the International Basketball League (IBL) Snohomish County Explosion Sean Keck has brought in NBA caliber players to join the training camp roster and at Center, Shooting Guard and Small Forward for the remaining time in training camp.
"Our team was a good team and was improved from last year but not at the level we wanted it to be for the upcoming 2009 season" said Sean Keck "These players now make us a team that will have three big men that all played at the NCAA division one level on our team.
Bradley Kanis (Southern Utah) 7-2 center who (is considered to play much like Portland Trailblazer Center Joel Przybilla) just left the NBA Houston Rockets practice squad after playing with the NBA team in the 2008 NBA Summer League. He will join the Explosion this weekend and will look to add power to the center position along the side of University of Washington center Jeffrey Day. Slam Dunk Specialist Cory Niles and former Boston College small forward Devon Greene will also be joining camp tonight.
