This season he also finished the league tenth with blocked shots at 1.2 per game average in the Ohio Valley Conference. He joins Jeffery Day who was one of the top shot blockers in the PAC 10 that season also already on the Explosion team at center. Richard Ford (Southern Illinois) 6-9 forward also looks to bring a large presence in the lane and will be one of the most explosive dunkers in the IBL this upcoming season. Ford comes to the Explosion from the West Virginia Blazers professional basketball team that plays in the ABA and was ranked 11th last year. In the 2005 season Southern Illinois of the Sun Belt Conference went 22-11 so wining is something Richard has come accustomed to.
