
Slammers Playoff Passes Now on Sale

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy are in sole possession of first place in the Frontier League East Division and are making plans for the playoffs. A $20 playoff punch card is now on sale as the Slammers head into the final home stretch of regular season games.
The playoff pass is good for up to six playoff games, the maximum number of home games possible at Joliet Route 66 Stadium. The pass is available to the first 1,000 buyers and is on sale only through August 19. Fans can purchase the playoff pass at the Slammers Box Office at 1 Mayor Art Schultz Drive, Joliet or by calling 815-722-2287. A full refund will be issued if the Slammers do not make the playoffs. Group pricing and fundraising opportunities are also available for the playoff games.
The Slammers have a heavy road schedule for August and September with only nine home games remaining. Upcoming promotions include Dental Appreciation, Harry Potter Night, Breast Cancer Awareness presented by O'Dekirk, Allred and Associates, LLC, Unite Faith Night and plenty of fireworks shows.
After two road series, the Slammers return home next on Tuesday, August 7 for Dental Appreciation Night. Tickets are just $2 as part of the Slammers $2 Tuesday promotion. The Slammers will also be honoring Dick Goss for 35 years of excellent sports coverage. Wednesday, August 8 is Back to School Night. Fans can bring in school supplies for the Slammers Back to School Drive and receive a free soda voucher. Thirsty Thursday and Medical Appreciation Night is slated for Thursday, August 9, along with a fundraiser to benefit the Old Joliet Prison. Use the code "PRISON" online at www.jolietslammers.com when purchasing tickets and $5 from the $10 ticket will go toward restoration of the prison.
The Slammers are then not home again until the weekend of August 17. On Friday, August 17, the Slammers will host Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by O'Dekirk, Allred and Associates, LLC. A specialty breast cancer awareness jersey will be up for auction with proceeds benefiting Breast Intentions of Illinois. The game will be followed by post-game fireworks. Harry Potter Night and the annual Boy Scout Sleepover is planned for Saturday, August 18 with post-game fireworks. Unite Faith Night is set for Sunday, August 19.
Closing out the regular season, the Slammers play September 1-3 at Joliet Route 66 Stadium. Friday, September 1 is Halloween Night. Fans can dress up for a free soda voucher on entrance and catch post game fireworks. Military Appreciation and the Slammers final Pet Day is Saturday, September 2, and Sunday, September 3 is Fan Appreciation Night with fireworks.
