
Slammers Kick-Off Season with 11 Games in May

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy kick-off the 2017 season with 11 games on the schedule for May. The season opens at home on Tuesday, May 16 against the Traverse City Beach Bums. Tickets on opening Day are $2 as part of the Slammers $2 Tuesday promotion.
May promotions include three education days on Wednesday, May 17, Thursday, May 18, and Wednesday, May 24. All education days begin at 10:05 am.
The first fireworks night of the season is on Friday, May 19 for Superhero Night. Superheroes, provided by Magic, Music, and More, include Spiderman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, and Mrs. Incredible. Superheroes will be at the stadium for autographs and pictures. Fans are encouraged to dress up for the evening and any fans that participate will receive a free small drink voucher. A post-game fireworks show will follow.
Bike Night will be held on Thursday, May 25. A parade around the field with motorcycles from the Christian Motorcycle Association will occur pre-game.. Thursday will also feature $2 drink specials for the Slammers Thirsty Thursday promotion presented by Bud Light. Drink specials include $2 Budweiser, Bud Light, and Pepsi products.
Teacher Appreciation Night is set for Tuesday, May 30. Teachers can bring their school ID to enter into a teacher-only raffle and tickets are just $2 on Tuesday.
