Bellingham Slam News Release
Bellingham, WA. The ABA Bellingham Slam have announced they will offer free tickets to all children ages 12 and under for Sunday night's playoff game against the Tacoma Navigators. The free children's tickets will be part of "Kid's Appreciation Night" which will include exciting contests and prizes for children throughout the night. Tip-off for the game is 5pm at Whatcom Pavilion.
"Since this will be our final home game of the season, we wanted to do something special for our most enthusiastic fans," commented Slam GM Bob Hofstetter. "I invite all families from around Bellingham and Whatcom County to come to Whatcom Pavilion and watch some exciting playoff basketball this Sunday."
The winner of Sunday's playoff game will head on the road to play in the second round on Saturday, March 18th against the Pittsburgh Xplosion, who received a first round bye. The winner of that game, as well as the winners from the seven other second round games from around the league, will advance to the ABA's "Great eight" Championship Tournament, taking place Mar 22-26 in Rochester, NY.
