MARIETTA, GA – The Southern League of Professional Baseball Clubs announced today the 2002 year-end all-star team as voted upon by the League's field managers, radio broadcasters and print media.

The 2002 year-end Southern League All-Star team is as follows:

The Southern League will announce the 2002 on-field awards on Thursday August 29. The on-field awards will include the following: Most Valuable Player, Most Outstanding Pitcher and Manager of the Year. Off-the-field business awards will be released on Friday August 30. The Southern League Batting Champion, ERA Champion and Award of Excellence will be announced on Tuesday September 3.
