Sky Blue FC Playing Final Road Match of 2016 Season

Orlando, Fla.- Sky Blue FC (6-7-5, 23 points) returns to National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) action on Saturday night, playing the Orlando Pride (6-11-1, 19 points) in its final road match of the 2016 season. Kickoff for the game is set for 7:30 p.m. at Camping World Stadium, and fans can watch all of the action live in HD on YouTube f6&idc4e7542495&ea0e953b4f5) .

"We are very excited to get back on the field tonight to build upon the momentum we created in the second half this past Wednesday," said Christy Holly, Sky Blue FC head coach. "We are focused on making sure that we finish the season with two solid performances, and that starts this evening when we play Orlando."

Saturday night will mark the second time that Sky Blue FC and the Orlando Pride have faced off over a four-day span, with the previous result being a 1-1 draw in New Jersey this past Wednesday evening. In that contest, the Pride jumped out to a 1-0 advantage via a Maddy Evans to Alex Morgan goal in the 23^rd minute. However, Sky Blue FC responded with a second half equalizer in the 80^th minute when Sam Kerr finished off a rebound of a Maya Hayes shot that was initially saved by Orlando netminder Ashlyn Harris.

Sky Blue FC has scored in nine consecutive games, a current NWSL high, with Kerr having registered a goal in each of her last three matches. The Australia international has now recorded a team-leading four goals on the season, despite the fact that she has only played in seven total contests during her 2016 campaign.
