Howell, N.J. - Sky Blue FC (0-3-2, 2 Points) take to the road to meet Reign FC in the teams' first matchup of the season. The game will take place at 4 p.m. ET at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington.

Sky Blue sits in eighth place in the National Women's Soccer League standings, one spot below Reign FC (0-1-3, 3 points). A road win will push Sky Blue over the Reign to take the 7th place spot in league standings.
Sky Blue FC is 4-7-5 all-time against Reign FC. Reign FC has gone winless in their last six NWSL matches, only scoring a total of four goals in that time. Sky Blue is on the hunt for their first win of the season.
"Tomorrow is a big game for us. We had a tough loss last weekend, but we had a great week of training," said Sky Blue FC captain Sarah Killion. "This team continues to bounce back and we continue to apply what we have learned. We are hungry for our first win of the season!"
Imani Dorsey and Raquel Rodriguez have been a big threat on the attack as both scored their first goals of the season on May 11 against the Washington Spirit. Another player to watch is Savannah McCaskill, she started in her first match on May 11and had three shots on goal with three chances created including an assist.
"We're ready for tomorrow's match. It's been a good week of training so far, and we just want to keep that energy going," said Sky Blue Forward Imani Dorsey. "We have really focused on being aggressive on defense and offense. And I think that will help us find success against the Reign. I'm ready to get out there."
Opponent
Returning from a bye weekend, the last match Reign FC played was on May 4th against the Washington Spirit in Boyds, Maryland. In a battle between the defenses, the match ended with a 0-0 score line.
With the FIFA Women's World Cup approaching, many players on the Reign FC roster are being called up resulting in short-term departures from the team. In total, eight women on the roster will be reporting for international duty for their respective countries:

Sky Blue vs. Reign FC Rewind
In Sky Blue's last meeting with Reign FC on May 26th, 2018, Sky Blue FC put the pressure on in a battle which ended in a 0-1 loss coming from a goal from Megan Rapinoe in the 64th minute of the game. With great effort put in from defense, goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan kept the game at a one-goal difference saving a one-on-one opportunity for Rapinoe.
Looking Ahead
After this Saturday's matchup with Reign FC, Sky Blue FC is back at home at Yurcak Field to take on Portland Thorns FC on May 25th at 6 p.m. ET for a Memorial Day Weekend fixture. After that, Sky Blue will head to Utah for their first meeting of the season with the Royals in Sandy, Utah at Rio Tinto Stadium on June 15th at 10 p.m. ET.
