Morristown, N.J. (Monday, June 8, 2015) - Sky Blue FC announced today that it has formalized an official club partnership with northern New Jersey-based English Pro Soccer and the Bulldogs Soccer Academy.

"An organization like English Pro Soccer and the Bulldogs Soccer Academy are an ideal club partner for Sky Blue FC," said Tony Novo, Sky Blue FC President & General Manager. "In a short time, they have established a very strong tradition with their club that has given them a deep footprint within the soccer community, both in the State of New Jersey and on a national basis. We look forward to evolving our partnership with them, and we know this relationship will be very beneficial for both of our organizations."

English Pro Soccer established its first academy in Bergen County in 2011, offering a broad spectrum of skill-specific training programs for players who wanted to compete against top-level teams on a regional and national basis.

"We have worked very hard to get this deal done, and I am delighted to have an official partnership with Sky Blue FC," said Matt Higgins, owner of English Pro Soccer and the Bulldogs Soccer Academy. "It will enable many things, but, most notably, it will serve as a stepping stone to the professional game for all of our Bulldogs soccer players on the girls' side, a female coaching presence from professional and international players, and coaching education for all of my coaches. For us to have this opportunity is a huge stepping stone in the academy's development."

Since establishing its initial club in Bergen County, English Pro Soccer now has Bulldog Academies located in Hudson, Morris and Sussex County. Each of the academies offers training programs and competitive team play for kids of all skill levels, as well as camp programs and other tournament opportunities.
