Morristown, N.J. (Saturday, March 28, 2015) - Sky Blue FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) will conclude its 2015 Preview Series Presented by Meridian Health on Sunday night, hosting Rutgers University at Toms River North High School. Kickoff for the match is slated for 7:00 p.m.
"This game is really about building in more game time experience for players we expect to start while also providing opportunities to other players who are fighting for a roster spot or starting spot," said Jim Gabarra, Sky Blue FC Technical Director & Head Coach. "Since we are playing on a short turnaround once again, it will be another good exercise for us and will be the end of a tough week with three games."
Admission into the game against Rutgers will be free for all spectators. The match will be the final contest of the preseason for Sky Blue FC, which has recorded three consecutive shutout wins over St. John's University (3-0), University of North Carolina (1-0) and Penn State University (2-0).
Sky Blue FC will open the NWSL regular season on the road when it travels to FC Kansas City on Sunday, April 12th.
