Harrison, N.J. - Ahead of the 2020 NWSL Fall Series, Sky Blue FC has announced its official roster. Sky Blue FC will take on the Chicago Red Stars and Washington Spirit as part of the Northeast Pod.

The Club's first match of the Fall Series will be played on September 5 against the Washington Spirit at Segra Field in Leesburg, VA. Kickoff for this match is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on CBS. The team will next travel to face the Chicago Red Stars on September 20 at 1:00 p.m. ET at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL. This match will air on CBS All Access in the U.S. and Canada. International viewers can stream all Fall Series matches on Twitch.

Sky Blue announced its two home matches during the Fall Series being held on October 3 and October 10 at Montclair State University, with both contests slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Club will welcome the Washington Spirit on October 3 and wrap up play against the Chicago Red Stars on October 10. As of now, Sky Blue is not planning to allow fans at either match.

Several players from the Sky Blue Challenge Cup roster have gone on loan and will not be playing in the Fall Series. Forward Evelyne Viens is on loan at Paris FC, while midfielders Elizabeth Eddy and Nahomi Kawasumi are on loan at Vittsjö GIK and INAC Kobe Leonessa, respectively. Pending work-visa approval, defender Kaleigh Riehl's loan will be announced in the coming days.

After missing the Challenge Cup with a right hip injury, Mallory Pugh will make her Sky Blue FC debut during the Fall Series. Additionally, following a breakout Challenge Cup performance, Jennifer Cudjoe has earned a multi-year contract with the Club, while midfielder Nicole Baxter returns on a short-term contract.

"I am looking forward to continuing to build this team and our identity throughout the NWSL Fall Series," said Sky Blue FC Head Coach Freya Coombe. "We have sent a few players on loan to Europe and Japan to widen their experience and will be following them closely. I am pleased to welcome Mal back from injury and look forward to working with her this fall."

Contracted players that are not on the roster due to injury include Caprice Dydasco (Right ACL), Carli Lloyd (Left Knee), Kenie Wright (Right ACL), and McCall Zerboni (Left Meniscus).

Midfielder Madison Tiernan previously announced her retirement after entering the NWSL in 2017. Defender Cassidy Benintente will also be stepping away from the game. Both announcements followed the completion of the NWSL Challenge Cup.
