June 13, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release
NEW YORK - The Mitsubishi Motors Drive to ArenaBowl XXI New Orleans continues to gain momentum for the final stretch as six playoff eligible teams fight for the final four positions with two games remaining in the regular season.
Week 16's installment of ESPN Russell Athletic Arena Football Monday showcases two of the AFL's most exciting players in Colorado Crush WR DAMIAN HARRELL and Chicago Rush WR BOBBY SIPPIO as they face off at Pepsi Center on Monday, June 18, at 10 p.m. ET (ESPN2 & ESPN360.com, SIRIUS Radio Channel 123).
In Week 10, both players combined for 25 receptions, 318 yards, 66 points, and 11 of the game's 16 touchdowns. Harrell (10-159-6) controlled the first half, scoring touchdowns on four of the Crush's five first half possessions to take a 33-28 lead into the break. Sippio (15-159-5) ignited the Rush's second half, outscoring Harrell three-to-two en route to a 59-48 victory.
With a win and a Kansas City loss, Chicago (10-4) can clinch the Mitsubishi Motors Central Division title and a first-round bye while Colorado (8-6) looks to go from the fifth place position in the playoff standings to a tie for third place. To do so, Colorado, needs a victory combined with losses by Kansas City and Los Angeles.
The Orlando Predators (8-6) host the Georgia Force (12-2) in a Southern Division battle on Friday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. ET (FSN South - Live, SUN Sports - Live, SIRIUS Radio Channel 119).
Georgia QB CHRIS GREISEN completed 22-of-30 passes for 278 yards and five touchdowns as the Force outscored Orlando 20-14 in the second half on their way to defeating the Predators, 55-34, in Orlando in Week 10.
Greisen (4,346 YDs, 103 TDs) needs three touchdown passes to set the all-time single-season touchdown record with 106.
With 58 yards by Force WR TROY BERGERON (115 REC, 1,542 YDs, 37 TDs), he and WR CHRIS JACKSON (127 REC, 1,688 YDs, 41 TDs) can become the first receiving tandem in AFL history to record 1,600 yards in the same season.
Georgia can become the third team in AFL history to record 13 regular-season wins with a victory, and sweep the Predators for the first time since 2002.
Led by QB SHANE STAFFORD (3,760 YDs, 67 TDs), Orlando looks to keep sole possession of third place in the National Conference playoff standings.
Something has to give when the Philadelphia Soul (6-8) host the Columbus Destroyers (6-8) on Saturday, June 16, at 7 p.m. ET (SIRIUS Radio Channel 126) as both teams can clinch playoff berths with a victory.
Columbus QB MATT NAGY (3,097 YDs, 61 TDs) completed 16-of-28 passes for 208 yards and three touchdowns as the Destroyers defeated the Soul, 44-21, in Columbus.

The Dallas Desperados (13-1) welcome the New York Dragons (5-9) to American Airlines Center on Saturday, June 16, at 8:30 p.m. ET (FSN Southwest - Live, FSN New York - SDD, 6/17 at 11:30 p.m. ET).
With a win, Dallas can become the first team in AFL history to win 14 regular-season games, and clinch the best record in the National Conference, obtaining home-field advantage throughout the playoffs in the process.

The Dragons, led by QB ROHAN DAVEY (2,182 YDs, 38 TDs), looks to bounce back from their 75-54 loss to Orlando on Saturday and keep pace with the loser of the Philadelphia - Columbus matchup for the final playoff spot.
