Texas Tycoons News Release

ProBasketballNews.com has ranked the top 10 teams in all of minor league basketball and also ranked the top 20 players. #6 turns out to be a lucky number for Texas and the Tycoons' Donny Beacham.

The Texas Tycoons (ABA-WBA) were ranked higher than their DFW counterpart Fort Worth Flyers, in the recent release by NBA beat writer Sam Amico, Texas was topped in the minor league power rankings by 1 ABA team, 3 NBA D-League teams, and 1 CBA team to finish 6th in the end of season minor league power ranking. Texas finished the season 25-5, as White conference and southern division champions, as well as ABA finalists. You can read more about the Minor League power rankings at www.probasketballnews.com

The Texas Tycoons' Donny Beacham was recently ranked as the #6 professional basketball player in all of the minors. Out of the thousands of pro players from the NBA D-League, CBA, ABA, and some of the smaller independent leagues; Beacham's #6 ranking is indeed impressive. CBA MVP Galen Young topped the rankings with D-League's Elton Brown, Von Wafer, and Renaldo Major ranked 2, 3, and 5 respectively. The ABA's Sun Yue, projected to be a second round draft pick in the NBA later this summer, is a 6'9 point guard for Beijing Aoshen Olympian, who Beacham's Tycoons defeated in the ABA final four contest held in Dallas two weeks ago.
