Sioux City starts their march toward the playoffs with three road games in a row beginning with this match-up against the Rough Riders. The Bandits are in the middle of the playoff hunt as they are tied with three other teams for fourth place in the league. This game is a battle between the two lowest scoring offenses in the UIF. Sioux City is averaging 33.7 points per game, while Peoria is averaging 33.1 per outing. Bandit defenders Spetlar Tonga and Adam Lloyd have helped lead the Bandits to the second stingiest defense in the league as they are allowing just 31.6 points per game. Tonga leads the team in tackles with 47, while Lloyd leads the team and is sixth in the UIF in interceptions with four. Peoria lost by their biggest margin last week against Omaha and will look to get their first win of the season this week. Wide receiver Keith Herron is third in the UIF in all-purpose yards as he has accumulated 268 receiving yards and 622 kick-off return yards.
