The Muskegon Lumberjacks of the International Hockey League (IHL) announced today that single game tickets for the 50th Season of Professional Hockey in Muskegon are now on sale. Muskegon kicks off the 2009-2010 home schedule on Saturday, October 17th when the Lumberjacks face the Bloomington Prairie Thunder. The puck drops at 7 pm at the LC Walker Arena. The party gets started beforehand with the Lumberjacks Pre-Game Street Party from 4-6 pm on Western Ave!
Fans can purchase single-game tickets now at the LC Walker Arena Box Office, charge by phone at 231-726-2400, all TicketMaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling TicketMaster at 1-800-745-3000. The Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday from noon-5:30 pm with extended hours on event days.
Lumberjacks ticket prices in advance are $12.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors (62 and up) and students (13-17), and $5 for kids (2-12). Kids under 2 are free. Ticket prices increase $1 on game day. All tickets are $5 on Sundays.
The 50th season of Muskegon Hockey is packed full of promotions that fans won't want to miss! This is the most promotions-filled season Muskegon fans have seen in 20 years! And don't forget the special offers! Every Sunday home game, tickets are just $5! Plus, all Friday home games are $1 Beer Fridays with $1 beers from 6-8 pm!
Watch for your favorite former Muskegon players throughout the night on Saturday, October 17th during Opening Night! Players from the past 50 years along with the three remaining Muskegon Sailors from the 1930's and 40's have been invited back. The Pre-Game Street Party on Western Ave. gets the night started with games, rides, and more! Be sure to stop down to get autographs from some of Muskegon's finest players from the past 50 years!
And that's just the first game! The Jacks will retire two former Muskegon players, Jock Callander and Dave Michayluk, during the year. Several charity events are planned to help the Muskegon community. Plus the Jacks will hold Star Wars Night, Flintstone Night, and NASCAR Night to name a few!
