Buffalo Silverbacks News Release
Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Silverbacks head to Jacksonville, FL for the second round of the ABA playoffs. After receiving a bye in the first round, the Silverbacks eagerly await their chance to meet up with the Jacksonville Jam and move on to the next round.
The two teams battled one time earlier this season when Buffalo made a last minute trip to Jacksonville the day after beating the Detroit Panthers at home. Buffalo lead Jacksonville for most of the game by a margin of 10 points or better, up 13 at the half. A 4th quarter hope and a prayer comeback by Jacksonville pulled off the win for the Jam. That was the only loss the Silverbacks have had in the last ten games, and since then they have blown by all competition.
The two teams face off Friday night at the University of North Florida where the Silverbacks' only focus is to make jelly out of the Jam. For more information please go to www.buffalosilverbacks.com.
