Silver Stars Host Fourth Annual Golf Scramble

SAN ANTONIO - Support local breast health charities and register now for the Fourth Annual Silver Stars Golf Scramble slated for July 27 at Canyon Springs Golf Club with an 11:30 a.m. check-in/lunch and 1:30 p.m. shotgun start.

The entire Silver Stars team and coaches will visit golfers along the course during the afternoon scramble, which supports six non-profit breast health groups (American Cancer Society, Alamo Area Cancer Council, Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen For the Cure, WINGS and SLEW Wellness Center).

Teams of four golfers can register online at www.sasilverstars.com. Cost is $600 per team. Each participant receives a box lunch, dinner, Silver Stars visor, goodie bag, two raffle entries and a 15 percent discount at the golf shop during the event. Prizes will be awarded to the best team and individual golfers, as well as to the golfer whose tee shot lands closes to the pin and the golfer with the longest drive. Raffle prizes and mulligan packages also are available throughout the tournament.
